My weekend

           

          Today is Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Im sitting down in the library listening to music & thinking what to write about. I GOT IT. This past weekend i went to San Jose with my family & we had a great time. We went to this restaurant but i dont remember what it was called. All I can say about that restaurant is that it was really good & that the food was delicious. After we came back, i went with my cuzin to a party & I had a lot of fun with him . He danced & stayed up late that night. The next morning i had forgotten that i had a soccer game at 9:30am until i received a call that woke me up. Since i had promised, i had to attend. Although i really didnt want to go, i went & honestly, it was one of my best games that ive played. I played for like 40 minutes & i scored 3 goals. That day we won 5-2.  I was glad because the most goals i had scored in a game were 2. I admit i had an awesome weekend.

President's Day Weekend

                 This past weekend was President's Day weekend. We had a 3 day weekend & i had a lot of fun starting since friday. On friday I had a soccer game at my school, James Monroe HS, against South Gate. it was our first playoff game. On saturday morning I went to the park with my dad to go see his team play & they won 1-0. Then we went home & we got ready to go out because we were heading to Agua Caliente Casino to this restaurant that's inside. We went there to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. It was a really long drive but it was worth the wait. That night, I got home really late & i had to wake up early the next day. On sunday morning i woke up around 7:00 & I helped my dad fix my mom's car. After that, we went out with my family to the mall & on our way back home we passed to Chipotle to eat; it was really good. On my way home from Chipotle, my friend called me & told me if I wanted to go to the theaters & so I accepted & I told my girlfriend & we went to pick her up on our way to the theaters. I had a lot of fun & i really enjoyed my weekend. Hopefully you did too. :D

VALENTINES DAY

        Its February 14, Valentines Day. School's packed with balloons, flowers, chocolates, etc. To me, February 14 is just another day in the month of February. It's nothing personal but I don't see the point of it sometimes. They only person I usually end up giving something to is my mom & my girl, if I have one at that moment. For example, my girlfriend doesn't come to my school but I have something planned out for her for the weekend. I plan to take her out to eat & make her feel special. Today my dad usually takes all of us (family) to eat to a restaurant & make my mom feel special. I think she deserves that & a lot more because she's the one always helping us in everything & yeah....

United States Marine Corps (USMC)

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is a branch of the United Stated Armed Forces & just like any other branch, it has its responsibility, to provide power protection from the sea. Its a component from the U.S. Department of the Navy. I personally like the Marines because of their uniform and because i have always wanted to join since i was little. I've had relatives that have been in the army in their country and i would like to serve in the Marines some day. I know of this one recruiter that sometimes walks around my school trying to recruit students and i have his number and i think I'm going to call him to get more information about the Marines.
